We are very pleased to introduce our new tennis pro, Aldene Lacaria. Aldene has been teaching tennis for over 30 years from Fritz Schunck tennis camps to Nick Bollitieri tennis academies in Florida and Los Angeles; her name is synonymous with tennis in Pittsburgh.

She has been on court with players such as Pete Sampras, Jim Courier, Mary Jo Fernandez, Patrick McEnroe, Bryan Brothers and Marty Fish.  Aldene has been sponsored by Nike and Wilson as both a USPTA and USPTR certified professional.

Aldene played Division I tennis at the University of Pittsburgh and was ranked number one in all Divisions of Allegheny Mountain Tennis Association’s singles, doubles, and mixed. Having played on the USTA National 5.0 teams, she qualified for Nationals and Regionals representing the Allegheny Mountain and Middle States division of United States Tennis Association. She has represented the Middle States division on National, Regional, and International tournaments and events.

Aldene is the former Director of Tennis for the City of Pittsburgh and is currently employed by Nike Tennis Channel and ESPN. We are very excited about the expertise and energy Aldene will bring to our tennis program.
