2011 HEAD COACH - KELSEY OLANDER

Kelsey Olander has been a member of the Edgewood Club for the past 5 years and swam for the Electric Eels for two summers until graduating from high school.  The summer of her senior year of high school, she worked as a volunteer with the younger swimmers to make sure that they were ready for their races during meets.  She has been the assistant coach for the past two years under Coach Meghan and is now taking the position of head coach of the Edgewood Eels. She is extremely excited to continue the Electric Eels’ tradition of team unity and strong swimming.

Kelsey is entering her senior at Boston College and is double majoring in Secondary Education and Hispanic Studies.  She is planning on being a high school Spanish teacher and hopes to get her masters in counseling after her time at Boston College.  She just completed a semester abroad where she studied in Sevilla, Spain, studying at La Universidad de Sevilla.
