2008 HEAD COACH - MICHAEL SUPPA

Michael is a familiar face on the swim circuit. He has been coaching in Allegheny Mountain Swimming with the Chartiers Valley Swim Club for 2 years. There he has worked with swimmers from novice to Eastern Zone Qualifier, and coached at meets in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, and Indiana. He is also a coach for the Central Catholic High School Swim Team where he has gained experience on deck at the W.P.I.A.L. and P.I.A.A. State Championships, working with swimmers on both levels.  Mike's swimming experience includes 13 years in the ESA at Rosedale, and several years with the Penn Hills Dolphins, Woodland Hills Aquatic Team, and Central Catholic High School. His certifications include United States Swimming, Lifeguard, First Aid, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer. Mike is a junior at Point Park University after transfering from WVU, where upon 1 month at the school he was selected for the most prestigious organization at the university, the Green and Gold Society. Mike is currently working towards a BA in Elementary Education.
